Work to repave University Drive and a section of Library Road began Sunday, June 22, 2025, and continues for approximately two weeks, weather depending.
Crews will be grinding the asphalt on Library Road overnight on Monday, June 23, 2025, starting at 11:00 p.m. and work will be complete by Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 4:00 a.m. Throughout this week, Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27, 2025, work crews will be adjusting the catch basins on University Drive and Library Road, with flag persons directing traffic as required.
On Friday, June 27, 2025, repaving of the loading dock area at MacOdrum Library and Dunton Tower will begin at noon and will be completed by end of day.
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, traffic flow will be changed to one-way traffic on Library Road from the Pride crosswalk at Canal Building travelling northeast toward Minto CASE. University Drive will be one-way westbound from Richcraft Building to the intersection of Library Road. The entrance at Colonel By Drive will remain two-way between Colonel By Drive and Library Road. Flag persons will be present to direct traffic through the construction areas.
