February is Black History Month.
Throughout the month, visit the Black History Month webpage as the Carleton community mobilizes to celebrate and highlight Black leadership, achievements and experiences.
The featured photo depicts an original and site-specific artwork created by regionally-based professional artist Jimmy Baptiste. Housing and Residence Life commissioned this work for Teraanga Commons after the recent building renaming. The two-part work is rendered in vinyl in the building’s lobby and stairwell.
