Financial Literacy Month

November is Financial Literacy Month (FLM), established by the Government of Canada to help Canadians increase their financial resilience. The Awards and Financial Aid Office uses this as an opportunity to help you build a strong financial background for your time at Carleton and beyond.

Week One

The Awards and Financial Aid Office is kicking off FLM by introducing you to some resources to help you get started on your journey to becoming financially conscious!

Week Three

It’s week three of Financial Literacy Month and the Awards and Financial Aid Office has prepared some everyday tips and tricks to help you save money!

In this budgeting video, learn how to set aside small amounts of money and the steps needed to stick to your plan.

Week Four

For week four of Financial Literacy Month, the Awards and Financial Aid Office has created a video with tips and tricks to keep you informed about frauds and scams!

In this video, learn how to recognize and avoid fraud and scams, along with some steps you can take if you’ve been the victim of fraudulent activity.
