There will be scheduled disruptions to ITS services for software upgrades on Friday, November 1, 2024 at noon to Monday, November 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
To maintain a stable, robust and secure environment, ITS conducts regular patching to systems at specific times throughout the year. This system patching, along with the volume of interfacing and dependent systems, typically results in a significant service impact while the work is carried out.
Clients will be unable to access the following services as ITS performs these software upgrades.
- Banner 9 administrative pages
- Carleton Central (including T4 & T2202A forms)
- Campus Card de/reactivation, Campus Card activity review systems & Campus Card web deposits & web payments
- Banner database
- Banner job submission
- Banner reports
- Banner Workflow Banner Document Management (BDM)
- MyCarletonOne (MC1) Services
- Banner – SITS integration
- Ventus Services
- Banner integration with eShop
- U.Achieve/DARS Audit
The following will have service degradation:
- Carleton360 (CRM)
- FAST Application
- PowerBI integrations with Banner
- Carleton Mobile app (note: there will be no impact to the Emergency Notification System)
- Concur Services
- Public exam schedule
- Campaign Monitor
- CAS Authentication on legacy CMS, Framework and intranet sites (note: there will be no impact to cuTheme sites)
- HR intake form
Full service will be restored by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024.
