The Green Square Campaign, commemorating the victims of the 2017 Quebec City mosque attack, will be observed on campus on Monday, January 29, 2024.
The campus entrance bridge will be illuminated in green in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance of the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia.
Green squares, symbolizing unity against Islamophobia, will be available in the Nideyinàn Galleria, Parking Services (204 Pigiarvik (ᐱᒋᐊᕐᕕᒃ), and the Student Experience Office (430 Tory). This annual event honours the lives lost and promotes awareness against hate and violence, encouraging an inclusive community.
