CSIS In-Person Recruitment Event – Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is at the forefront of Canada’s national security system. CSIS is looking for students who thrive on tackling diverse challenges in a unique environment. You will have the opportunity to acquire “once in a career” experience that will have an impact on national security. There are currently opportunities in the Student and Co-op Program and this info session is targeted to students in IT, computer science, math, stats and engineering. Students from other degree programs are welcome to attend. Royal Canadian Mint – Networking Event for Women and Gender Minorities – Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Royal Canadian Mint, in partnership with Career Services, is hosting a networking event for women and gender minorities in trades with a special focus on mechanical and electrical trades. This event is open to students and recent grads who are interested in jobs at the Royal Canadian Mint and interested in developing professionally and obtaining the Red Seal/trade certification for tradespersons who have successfully completed a college certificate and do not yet have the experience to pass the provincial or Red Seal exam. Enjoy afternoon refreshments and an opportunity to speak with directors, senior managers of engineering and technical services and members from human resources. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., take an optional tour of the Royal Canadian Mint and bring home a special gift. Learn more about this event on the Careers website.

International Internship Program – Winter and Summer 2023

The deadline to apply to the International Internship Program is coming up on Friday, November 25, 2022. An international internship is an opportunity to work internationally for academic credit. Internships are an excellent way to gain real-world work experience, develop contacts in your field and build your resume to market yourself for future career opportunities. Applying is the first step to taking part in an internship. Once you apply, you will be invited to a group call with the internship team where you will get the logistical, academic and financial details about internships to see if this program is a good fit for you.
