Career Services regularly highlights workshops, info sessions and career events to showcase the variety of opportunities that are available to you as a student (and beyond). Attend these virtual and in-person sessions to gain work-related skills or to discover organizations that may be valuable to you on your career journey.

Dream Recruitment Information Session – Wednesday, September 14, 2022, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Dream is always looking for the best and brightest to join its thriving community. They are currently looking for students in finance, accounting and other areas to join the team throughout 2023. They are also looking for third-year university students to join the Dream 360 rotation program as Summer Analysts starting in May 2023. If you are going into your fourth year in the fall of 2023 and have a passion for real estate and finance, this may be an opportunity for you.

Scotiabank Recruitment Information Session – Friday, September 16, 2022, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

At this in-person info session with Scotiabank, learn all about how you can land an internship, co-op or new graduate opportunity. There are opportunities for students in STEM, business or arts-related fields of study.

Ontario Greenhouse Recruitment Information Session – Monday, September 19, 2022, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Students in all fields will learn about various career paths in the greenhouse sector; from automation to engineering you will get a first-person look at the career opportunities in this rapidly growing industry. The presenters will be employees from the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers, a not-for-profit organization that strives to support the Ontario greenhouse vegetable sector and its growers to ensure success for today, sustainability for tomorrow and fresh, nutritious quality produce for all.

Fall 2022 Navigating the Canadian Workplace Workshop Series – Monday, September 19, to Monday, November 22

Navigating the Canadian Workplace is a self-directed online workshop series for international students. Once registered for the workshop series, students will have eight weeks to watch recordings of the five workshops in the series and complete any workshop activities and assignments. Topics include Beginning Your Job Search and Building Your Resume, Canadian Workplace Culture, Introduction to the Canadian Hiring Process, and more. Registration is open now and the workshops will be available from Monday, September 19 to Monday, November 21 for the fall term. To register, fill out the Navigating the Canadian Workplace registration form.

Bell Recruitment Information Session – Thursday, September 22, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Students will learn about Bell and their 2023 Graduate and Intern Leadership Programs.

Bell’s interns and new graduates collaborate with inventive and highly motivated people to experience, influence the development of the hottest technologies, and participate in truly innovative projects. Bell is looking for smart, curious and passionate students and graduates from a variety of disciplines to join their team of more than 800 graduates currently making Bell better.

Study in the UK Grad School Information Session – Thursday, September 22, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

At this grad school information session, students will learn about how Study in the UK (SI-UK) can support you with applying to study in the UK. SI-UK provides free independent advice and support to Canadian students applying to study in the UK.

ADLER’s Graduate Degrees in Psychology Information Session – Thursday, September 29, 2022, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Learn about graduate opportunities in psychology. ADLER’s Master of Psychology degree prepares students for registration as a Psychological Associate with the Ontario College of Psychologists in clinical and counselling practice areas. The Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology is offered by ADLER to educate and prepare students for registration as Psychologists with the College of Psychologists of Ontario or with licensing bodies in other jurisdictions.
