Third Dose of Vaccine Strongly Recommended

This news post is more than one year old and has been retained for archive purposes. The information below may no longer be relevant.

As a reminder, individuals who plan on coming to campus and/or participating in any in-person Carleton activities must attest to their vaccination status and be fully vaccinated prior to their arrival on campus.

We strongly recommend that all members of the Carleton community get their third dose booster of the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. Public health officials have advised that individuals should receive their third dose as soon as 84 days after their prior dose. Vaccines are readily available and Ottawa Public Health has announced that walk-ins are available at their community clinics for everyone eligible for any vaccine dose. Information on how to submit the third dose booster information in cuScreen will be communicated within the coming weeks.

Please visit the Carleton COVID-19 website for more detail on meeting vaccination requirements.

Individuals are only considered fully vaccinated if they received their last dose at least 14 days before the date of their attestation.

To attest to being vaccinated:

  • Log into cuScreen
  • Click on “Report your latest vaccination status”
  • Carefully read each question and answer appropriately
  • Upload proof of vaccination (vaccine dose administration receipts or equivalent documents), preferably in PDF format

To assist with planning purposes, all members of the Carleton University community are encouraged to complete the vaccination attestation form and submit their documents as soon as possible even if you are not planning to participate in in-person activities at this time.
