Industry Talk with CNSC

Join Carleton’s Faculty of Engineering and Design on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for an Industry Talk session. In this Industry Talk with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), you will hear from President and CEO Rumina Velshi and Vice-President and Chief Science Officer Peter Elder about CNSC’s equity, diversity and inclusion commitments. Whether you’re a first year student, graduating this spring or just starting your career, learning about a potential future employer’s equity, diversity and inclusion commitments to its employees is a valuable opportunity and will help you make an informed decision about your career.

This event is for women students in a Carleton University undergraduate, Master’s or doctoral program of engineering, IT, applied science, computer science, mathematics or physics, current Carleton University women students interested in engineering and IT and Carleton University alumnae who have graduated from a STEM program in the past three years.

The first 75 women students to register for this talk and attend the full talk will receive a $25 UberEats gift card. Register for the event here.
