Employer Spotlight: CRA’s IT Branch is Hiring

Canada Revenue Agency’s IT Branch is looking to hire several hundred students and new graduates by June 2022.

Join Career Services at a virtual info session to learn about current and future job opportunities in technology at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). With offices from the Pacific to the Atlantic and everywhere in between, there are lots of IT career opportunities available.

There are two dates to choose from for the 90-minute info sessions:

  • General session: Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.
  • Session for students with disabilities: Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

During the session, you will have the chance to hear from recent graduates and alumni working at the CRA and connect with CRA Ambassadors who can answer your questions in breakout rooms following the presentation.

What to Know About Working with the CRA

The CRA offers a variety of apprenticeship and developmental programs for students and recent graduates, all designed to offer hands-on work and educational experiences. The CRA provides supportive networks and mentors, and offers training programs to help employees strengthen their existing skills and learn new ones to excel in their career. They employ individuals looking to work in some of the following areas of IT: architecture, business analysis, business intelligence, development, infrastructure, innovation, project management, data science, database management, service management, IT support, applications, cloud technology, hardware management, server and network infrastructure support and security.

To register for one of the CRA info sessions, log into mySuccess via Carleton Central and go to the “Workshops/Events” tab to find the “Co-op and Career Events/Workshops” calendar.
