Celebrating National Indigenous History Month

Carleton University acknowledges the location of its campus on the traditional, unceded territories of the Algonquin nation. In doing so, Carleton acknowledges it has a responsibility to the Algonquin people and a responsibility to adhere to Algonquin cultural protocols.

This month, we are celebrating the rich and diverse cultures, voices and experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.

Visit the Carleton Newsroom to learn how Carleton University is integrating Indigenous history and ways of learning and teaching into course delivery and campus life as we explore some of the people who are helping to make us a more inclusive community.
