The new year brings a fresh start, a new term and new opportunities! 2021 has arrived and with it, the winter term is quickly underway. With all the changes from the past year, one thing remains the same: Carleton is here to help. Take advantage of the new semester and let us help you along a path toward graduation!
With the transition to online learning comes new challenges – make sure you’re on the right path to academic success! Check out the Learning Support Workshops at the Centre for Student Academic Success (CSAS). These sessions are designed to help you develop the skills to achieve academic success. CSAS is also offering many other services and resources online, like Writing Consultation Sessions, Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS), and interactive webinars!
The campus scene has been a lot different this past year, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have the opportunity to stay in touch and enjoy some virtual time with your peers! The Ravens Zone is a new online space to meet fellow Ravens through exciting games, activities and conversation. Ravens Zone is hosted on the Zoom platform and takes place every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. beginning January 20, 2021. Visit the Student Experience Office website to register!
Start off the new year by making sure you prioritize your well-being. Schedule time in your day for activities that you enjoy like reading, practicing mindfulness or keeping your body moving at home with Ravens Virtual Fitness. If you’re looking for new ways to manage your wellness and keep a positive mindset, be sure to visit the Mental Health and Well-Being website for information and virtual resources.
No matter what goals you’ve set for the term, Carleton offers resources to help you achieve them! Visit the Current Students’ website for a full list of virtual resources and services.
