Discovery Challenges are offering Carleton students real-world, resumé-boosting experience!
Hosted by the Discovery Centre, Discovery Challenges are short-term, virtual, unpaid mini-projects (maximum 6-8 hours of work) that count toward your Co-Curricular Record (CCR). Some of the challenges have additional incentives, too! Discovery Challenges are proposed by Carleton staff, faculty and recognized student groups (e.g. CUSA clubs and societies) who are looking for fresh student perspectives.
The first round of Discovery Challenges is now available on the MySuccess volunteer job board (via Carleton Central) or directly via the Riipen portal. Once you have submitted your project, complete a challenge form to automatically get CCR credit.
Some Discovery Challenges limit the number of students who can participate, so don’t wait to sign up! All submissions are due by Friday, December 18, 2020.
Contact by email with any questions, and stay tuned for new challenges in the winter term!
