With the transition to online learning, Carleton University is continuing to offer a variety of virtual employment opportunities and resources.
Meet Employers & Explore Job Opportunities at Virtual Recruitment Events
Explore remote work opportunities and meet employers at virtual recruitment events!
Many organizations have moved their recruitment efforts online and will be hosting virtual recruitment events, like information sessions, technical workshops, career fairs, and networking events, throughout the academic year.
Attending these online events is a great way to learn more about companies in your field of interest, gain insight into their workplace culture and application and hiring processes, and explore their current job opportunities.
Check out which companies are hosting upcoming virtual recruitment events and browse their current job openings on mySuccess (login via Carleton Central).

Virtual internships have a range of flexible start dates and vary in length from six to 12 weeks.
Explore your Career Interests through the Job Shadow Program
Job Shadow is a job mentorship program that allows you to connect with a professional in your field of interest and observe them in their job.
Through a virtual meeting (via phone or video call) with your Job Shadow Mentor, you’ll have a chance to learn about their role’s responsibilities and gain a better understanding of the knowledge, skills, experience, and education you may need to follow your specific career interests.
Job Shadow is open to third and fourth year students in programs within the Faculties of Public Affairs, Arts and Social Sciences, and Science.
Job Shadow is run once per semester. The deadline to apply to the Fall Job Shadow Program is October 9, 2020.
