LinkedIn Learning Webinars for Students, Faculty and Staff

Carleton is excited to announce that we will be hosting LinkedIn Learning webinars for students, faculty and staff in the coming months. More details regarding the content of each webinar and the dates/times can be found below:

Student Webinar: We will cover the following:

  • How to build your online brand through LinkedIn
  • How to create a great LinkedIn profile that will stand out
  • What is LinkedIn Learning and how can you use it to develop or learn new skills and showcase them on your profile
  • How you can take advantage of our alumni tool to create a strong network and help you with your job search

Students can choose to attend either the webinar on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. or webinar on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 3:30 p.m.

Faculty Webinar: We will cover the following:

  • What is LinkedIn Learning and how do we organize our content library of over 16,000 courses
  • How it can be leveraged inside of the classroom to support your students as part of a blended learning strategy
  • How faculty can find the right content easily through content mapping
  • How the platform can be used for curriculum and personal development

Faculty can choose to attend either the webinar on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. or the webinar on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 3:00 p.m.

Staff Webinar: We will cover the following:

  • What is LinkedIn Learning and how do we organize our content library of over 16,000 courses
  • How the platform can be used for developing new hard and soft skills
  • How staff can leverage it to ace the performance review cycle
  • How staff can build a professional brand
  • How to find the right content easily through a live demo

Staff can choose to attend either the webinar on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. or the webinar on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 3:30 p.m.
