Although the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is normally mandatory for all international and/or non-residents (and their dependents) studying or working at Carleton University, international students studying in the fall 2020 term who are residing outside of Canada are now eligible to opt-out of UHIP. The fall term fee of $240 will be removed from your student account. The online opt-out form can be found on the International Student Services Office’s website.
