As we venture into unexplored territory and Carleton courses are delivered online and by other alternative modes of delivery, compassion and self-compassion will see us through.
As we navigate through these difficult times, Carleton University wants you to know that we are here to support you. No matter where you call home across Canada, there are many support services and resources available to support your mental health.
The Mental Health and Well-Being website features a list of Provincial Support Resources to support your mental health no matter where you call home in Canada. For students in need of support around the world, they can visit the International Support Resources page.
If you are feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed there is always someone you can talk to. Carleton University undergraduate students have access to free, confidential, 24/7 counselling services in the community through Empower Me. Empower Me support is available in person, by telephone, video-counselling or e counselling. The service allows you to connect with qualified counsellors, consultants and life coaches at their private practice in the community 24/7, 365 days per year – for free.
Call 1-844-741-6389 (toll free) to make an appointment with a counsellor in the community.
