As part of the Phase 2 Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, the City of Ottawa will shut down the Trillium Line that services Carleton University for a two-year period beginning May 2020. At this time, the city is projecting that the new LRT service will resume in September 2022.
During the project the City of Ottawa and OC Transpo will provide a replacement bus service, known as the R2 Bus Service. The R2 Bus Service will run along the entire O-Train Line 2 route during the closure and will stop at all Line 2 stations.
