Have your say in the academic governance and future of Carleton University by running for Senate. Nominations are currently being accepted for 10 undergraduate students to serve on Senate for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2020.
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences – 3 vacancies
- Faculty of Public Affairs – 3 vacancies
- Sprott School of Business – 1 vacancy
- Faculty of Engineering and Design – 2 vacancies
- Faculty of Science – 1 vacancy
Application and Process
If you are interested in serving on Senate, please fill the nomination form on the Senate website by Thursday, February 27, 2020. The campaign period will run from March 2-6, 2020. Student Senator elections for contested positions will occur on March 9-10, 2020, and will be run according to the campaign rules of Carleton Academic Student Government Electoral Code (refer to section 3).
