Nov. 4, 2019
To All Members of the Carleton Community,
Carleton University will conduct its annual Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday, November 11, 2019.
It will begin at 10:55 a.m. at the flagpoles on Library Road near the Azrieli Theatre.
About Remembrance Day
Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every November 11 at 11:00 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defence.
If you would like to learn more about the history of Remembrance Day, please visit the Carleton Remembrance Day page! Also, please be sure to come and join us in remembering all of our fallen soldiers at the ceremony.
