Take Charge of Your Finances this Financial Literacy Month

What is Financial Literacy Month?

In 2012, the Parliament of Canada proclaimed each November as Financial Literacy Month. The theme this year is “Take charge of your finances!” The goal is to encourage Carleton students to take charge of their finances by making a budget, having a savings and debt management plan and understanding their financial rights and responsibilities.

November is Financial Literacy Month (FLM)

The Awards Office supports student financial literacy by teaming up with community partners to bring informative workshops and events to campus every November.

Check out what we have planned for this year:

Get answers to all your questions about student loans at our repayment seminar with the National Student Loan Service Centre.
