From Monday, September 16, 2019, to Sunday, September 22, 2019, there will be many different events occurring in order to celebrate Carleton University’s Throwback. Throwback is Carleton’s Homecoming celebration where people come together to share memories, highlight Carleton’s achievements and celebrate its enduring commitment to community engagement.
The main event of Throwback is the Homecoming football game that will occur on Saturday, September 21, 2019, between Carleton Ravens and Waterloo Warriors.
Some of the other Throwback events to get you pumped and excited before and after the game are:
- Celebrate the Opening of CUAG’s Fall Exhibitions
- Carleton Adapts
- The Divine Nature of Leonardo
- Carleton to Host Re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s Masterpiece
- Attallah Lecture: War on Mobile Phones: Technology and Truth in the Age of Digital Witnessing
- FPA Currents Lecture
- Ravens Rally
- Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre to Celebrate Return of Rare Pipe Organ
Not only will Throwback be a special time for current students, but it will also be very important to Carleton’s alumni who, through this event, have the opportunity to return home and celebrate. They can revisit old haunts and former classmates. It’s a look back at the glorious past and a peek into an unlimited future.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at Rodney’s House in Alumni Hall. Be sure to save the date! For more information about our other events during Throwback please check out our events calendar!
