Welcome and Welcome Back!

September is here and with it so too is the first day of class. Whether you’re new to campus, or working on your last couple of credits to graduate, the start of a new semester is always busy. At Carleton University we’re proud to offer over 150 programs and services to help support you throughout your studies.

Whether you need help reaching your academic goals or managing your finances, want to get a head start on your career, are looking for ways to get involved or want to better manage your mental health and well-being, we’re here to help. Use our service search at to explore our services and programs and find the resources that are right for you.

If you’re not sure where to get started, check out Pathways to Graduation. Our yearly transition website is designed to help guide you along a path to graduation that is right for you. Explore program specific content based on your current phase and let the success pillars guide you toward graduation. Once you’ve selected your program and phase use the Checklist feature to see how we can help you reach your goals.

September is also a great time to take advantage of personal development opportunities like signing up for a mentorship program, gaining skills by participating in Learning Support Workshops or by establishing a wellness routine.

No matter where you’re at in your Carleton experience, we’re glad to have you on campus with us this fall. Should you need anything at all during the first two weeks, be on the lookout for faculty, staff and student leaders wearing red Ask Me buttons, we’re all here to help. Throughout the year, no matter your question or concern our dedicated student support staff at all of our support offices are happy to help answer your questions or direct you to the right support resources to fit your needs.

Have a great semester!
