Research has consistently shown that timely CPR greatly improves the chances of survival for patients suffering from cardiac arrest. CUSERT offers on-campus first aid training to help equip members of the Carleton community with basic first aid skills to help improve safety on campus.
Delivered in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, the Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C course provides skills and knowledge training for use in the workplace/school and at home, covering topics such as breathing and circulation emergencies, wound care, bone and joint injuries, and much more. This widely recognized course meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. Certifications are provided by the Canadian Red Cross.
Taught by experienced CUSERT responders, these courses are convenient and affordable for students.
