The schedule for the delivery of large steel beams for the ARISE building has been revised.
Deliveries are now scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 6 and Friday, Dec. 8. There will be an escort to help facilitate delivery to the ARISE construction site and the entire delivery is anticipated to take an hour to complete.
The trucks will arrive via Bronson Avenue, travel to Campus Avenue and turn at Library Road before heading onto University Drive. As the trucks make their way to the ARISE building, the roadways and pathways will be temporarily blocked. Once at the ARISE site, the road will be temporarily closed and traffic will be redirected.
There will be temporary road closures of University Drive in front of the ARISE building during the following two days while the steel is erected and secured.
All safety precautions will be in place during this process.
Facilities Management and Planning appreciates your patience and understanding.
