The search committees for new deans of the Faculty of Science, Sprott School of Business and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences have been meeting throughout the fall and are progressing well. A number of strong candidates have come forward. We are interviewing potential candidates this month and hope to have shortlists of candidates to present to the three faculties early in the New Year. We are optimistic that we will have new deans selected for a July 1, 2018 start date.
Thank you to all those who submitted suggestions and comments through the online surveys for the committees to consider in their deliberations. Updates on the committee’s work will continue to be provided and we welcome ongoing input about the search process through our search consultant, Laverne Smith and Associates, at email@example.com.
