To All Faculty and Staff,
There will be a series of daily deliveries to the ARISE Building construction site starting on Wednesday, Oct. 18 for a period of three weeks. Trucks will be accessing the construction site via Parking Lot 1 (behind MacOdrum Library) and using the access road between Loeb and Southam Hall.
As part of the safety precautions in place, there will be flag persons on site directing traffic and pedestrians when necessary and posted precautionary signage. The pathway behind Paterson Hall will be temporarily blocked during these deliveries, and an alternative will be made available. For your safety please follow directions from flag persons during these deliveries.
In addition, there will be three oversized deliveries of steel. The deliveries will be made from the Bronson entrance to campus, and stored overnight in Parking Lot 7 (at the north end of campus) until it’s moved the next morning to the construction site which will require a temporary shutdown of University Drive. When the dates and times of these deliveries are confirmed, we will share this information with the campus community.
Department of University Safety officers will be on hand to assist with traffic control during these deliveries.
Facilities Management and Planning appreciates your patience and co-operation.
