Every year, students have a lot of questions when they arrive on campus in the fall. To help them get the answers they need, and to welcome new and returning students to the Carleton community, we’ve launched our annual Ask Me Campaign.
The Office of the Vice-President (Students and Enrolment) is coordinating this campaign, which is designed to make new and returning students feel comfortable about approaching anyone on campus and asking for directions or for assistance during the first few weeks of the term. The Ask Me campaign involves everyone on campus in the process of welcoming and orienting new students to Carleton and demonstrates that everyone at the University plays an important role in enhancing the student experience.
We believe the campaign heightens the sense of community for students, faculty and staff, diminishes the confusion many first-year students experience in the first few weeks of term and contributes to making all students feel part of this caring community.
