Submit your ideas to the Green Revolving Fund and you could be eligible to win $500
Carleton University has established a $1-million Green Revolving Fund as part of its campus-wide Energy and Sustainability Program. All members of the Carleton community are encouraged to participate and submit ideas.
The fund allows for investment in sustainability-related projects that are submitted by Carleton faculty, staff and students. A Green Revolving Fund Committee (GRFC) has been struck to evaluate submissions. The main criteria for consideration will be that the application highlights its positive environmental impact, as well as have a solid financial plan. Other criteria may also be considered.
The deadline for applications is September 30, 2013. The applicants of the chosen project(s) will be eligible for a cash prize of up to $500 and will be highlighted at a special recognition ceremony. The savings realized by the project(s) will be returned to the Green Revolving Fund to repay the initial investment.
